Curious as to order of Slackware 8.0 ISOs
There are three Slackware 8.0 ISOs. install.iso, extras.iso, and source.iso. I believe they go in this order:
Disk 1: install.iso
Disk 2: extras.iso
Disk 3: source.iso
Is that correct?

If your thinking of ordering these CD's, you might want to hold off til 8.1 is fully released which shouldn't be to far away in the near future.

Oh I was mislead by your Thread title.. I thought you were looking into ordering the cd's and wondering the order of them and what cd's you would get if you did.
Why not order them ?? Support Patrick since he is all alone and makes the greatest Linux Distro available.

I would gladly pay for Slackware, and even give monthly donations. Problem is, I am a High School student with no job.

Actually, install.iso is Disk 1, Extras is Disc 3 and sources is Disc 4. Disc 2 is the super secret 'boot from CD for fully working system' disc that you get as a bonus for buying them (once ya have that first job and all). You dont' really need to know all that, however. The install is self contained on the 1st CD. You don't have to "Insert Disc 2" or anything like that.

So, if I only have install.iso (Disk 1), I'll be able to install the entire operating system and have it function fully?
