Critter problem

Slackware-current, nvidia driver
Has anybody got the excellent time waster Critter aka CriticalMass running on very recent current?
The LinuxPackages v1.0.0 build worked until about 2 weeks ago and the started locking the screen with random colours.
So I tried building from latest source and it crashes X with a signal 11.

I have version 1.0.2 working on a -current that I upgraded this morning. I wrote the SlackBuild myself (patterned ofter several of Alien Bobs that I had downloaded). I have had no problems with it, except having trouble turning it off to go on to other things!
Regards,
Bill
