creating tagfiles from existing installation

hi

when i install slack, i normally choose the apps i want to install (in menu mode) and go on in that manner for each disk set. the downside of this is the time it takes, especially if i wanna play with install configs or just happen to lose my install. so once i've installed slack, how would i go about creating tagfiles so that i can give the next installation the path to it or 'them' (on cd it's one per disk set, dunno if it can be a single one spanning all).

short: i wanna create custom tagfiles based on the packages i've already installed.

found this link in another thread: http://startlinux.co.nz/articles/article_64.php but it's more for new installations, in the sense, it's not created based on an existing installation. so if anyone knows how...
