Creating own distribution by customizing Slackware
 

I want to create my own distribution by customizing the Slackware 10. I would be just removing some packages and adding some new packages.

Is this allowed to do as per the GNU license?

Also, Slackware 10 comes with the Sun Java SDK. Is it legal to distribute the official Sun JDK with any Linux distribution?

I think I read something that says you can pretty much do whatever you want to slackware as long as you don't ripoff the name.. unless you have permission of course...
