Creating Disk Image for Slackware using RAWRITE
If the regular RAWRITE is not working from your WINDOWS OS machine (I think it has to do with the fact you are not running directly in the MS-DOS shell), I found this tool that enables you to write the image directly in wondows.

Hope this helps everyone starting out with Slackware and needs to cerate a boot disk!
