This thread really shows problematic attitudes floating around this forum. This thread seems to be more about one guy "hated" by a couple of individuals covering behind some "intelligent" arguments "Oh, we asked for your errors, you mad bro?", just pure childish making it even worse when a moderator like onebuck is joining the mob bullying.

I'm not perfect either, but this thread and the forum is infected by pure bullying and is not really fun anymore to visit this place.

Yes, I was quite terse in my statements, but the question concerned MY build script and packages, and ReaperX7 could have just asked me. Instead he made his usual vage statement that "something" does not work and then I take it personally.
If I am supposed to help, I need to see evidence of what is wrong. The script he was using has the exact build order spelled out. And he could have thought of checking the dates on MY packages before asking about package build order. Eventually he accepted that as a satisfying answer from someone ELSE.
I am not bullying, but my patience with ReaperX7 has been stretched quite a bit lately. I had a couple of pretty bad days so ReaperX7 accept my apologies if you were offended. And in future back up your statements with facts. Talk is cheap.

Apologies are accepted. It's unethical to not do so, even for me.

From what has been learned I've been able to reassemble KDE5 in individual SlackBuilds so I can rework KDE5 via a different method, into my system. Oddly, I did have to create what amounts to an aaa_kde_base for the profiles and various scripts, but it has proven educational. Of course it's a bit of work, but one must get one's hands dirty.

o come on, learn forum history, people that are proud to have strong opinions should not be that easy damageable.
removing the original question, later referring to this, and say not to read any more in this thread is just an other peace of delicious forum history
and the problem was solved an
and you can learn that some people are able to apologise for very little things while others are not able to do so, even if they have over the last time much more opportunity to do so.

Learn from forum history? Strong opinions on a forum where you can be 100 percent anonymous is not the same thing as having strong opinions in real life. In real life a person may have huge social problems but finds it easier to communicate via forums (I'm not pointing at anyone here). I.e. you don't know a shit about the other person you write to so don't start with your universal definitions or history lectures against me.

I apologize for going further off-topic, if you want to continue with your historical lectures, please pm me.

Cheers.

The "even for me" concession conjures the picture of emperor Tiberius' raised thumb at a gladiator fight.

My ethics do often get the better of me.
