Coreutils not part of Slackware 64?

Hi all,

On the heels of my question on GNU Info not working quite right, I decided to look through the Slackware 64 -- current tree and see what version of coreutils is there.

Coreutils isn't there. Does anyone know why it's not included and whether it might be in the future?

Curiously,

-Drew

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it in the a series instead of the ap series.

coreutils includes stuff such as (but not limited to) : cat, chgrp, chmod, chown, cp, cut, date, ln, ls, mkdir, mv, rm, rmdir, su, uname [if coreutils was missing.. you would have noticed it]. 'info' is provided by texinfo.

Yup! My original question was here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...h-12.2-732910/

It had more to do with the interaction between texinfo and the info pages for the utilities in the coreutils package.

Thanks,

-Drew

Hmmm, Drew, you must have missed installing it:
ftp://ftp.slackware.at/slackware64-c...4-x86_64-1.txz

Nope nope nope. I'm good. See my edit above. I haven't installed Slackware 64 yet, I was just browsing the tree and looking in the wrong place.

I was up late last night and my brain is foggy. :)

Thanks, Gilbert.
