connection refused from the browser

When I try to connect to my webserver (using Firefox browser), I get this message:

"The connection was refused when attempting to contact sandugo.homelinux.org"

It was working before, I don't know what i did.

Is this problem on the router or the web server?

thanks,

Sounds like you're trying to connect on a port that your server isn't configured for.

Hmm... I don't get a connection refused. I get a 403 (Forbidden) when I go to sandugo.homelinux.org.

That could be intentional on your part, but my guess is your problem is, at least now, file permissions in your htdocs directory.

If you're still getting connection refused, I would consider checking your firewall settings. My system is set up with a webserver behind a firewall, with 80 and 443 forwarded to the server. If I'm on a computer that's also behind the firewall, then it uses a different ipchains rule to connect to the server. If that rule isn't set up properly, it's entirely possible that people on the world wide web can see my server, but people on the local net can't unless they type in the direct IP of the server instead of the FQDN.
