connecting to a lan with amigo

alright foir those who have seen my post about not getting amigo/zipslack to run on a comp i'm still having that problem i would post the link but since i'm a newbie i cant
anyways i got a comp running this for the time being just to test it out, since i dont have dial up i cant get on the web that way....i'm connected to a lan with a cable modem so how do i get on this network and connect to my lan?
