connect to internet using command line

guys wat can i use to be able to connect to the internet using the command line? (level 3) m using 10.2 slack.. thanks .

As root run pppsetup and follow instructions.

How is your network setup? Are you trying to connect via network (ethernet), phone line, or vpn?
