conky 1.7.2 and Slackware 13.0

Anyone get conky 1.7.2 to compile under Slackware 13.0? I'm trying to get past a successful configure with the following: ./configure --enable-rss --enable-wlan

I've had to compile LUA 5.1 to satisfy one of the requirements, but now it gets to the following in configure and stops...

checking for iw_sockets_open in -liw... no
configure: error: iw_sockets_open not found

I've searched the interwebz and the only thing I was able to come up with was an old post about compiling libiw using --enable-shared. Is that even possible with the new wireless package?

Just add LDFLAGS="-lm" to the configure script.

Thanks larryhaja, it worked! Just curious and for future reference, what does -lm actually tell the configure script?

Now that I've passed the configuration stage, I'm having issues with LUA being found during the make process... LUA is supposedly detected fine during configure, but during make I get this:

llua.h:25:17: error: lua.h: No such file or directory
llua.h:26:21: error: lauxlib.h: No such file or directory
llua.h:27:20: error: lualib.h: No such file or directory

Either the header files aren't installed or they are in not in any of the include directories that are used during compile time. The header files for me are located in /usr/include. Where are your header files located?

Conky compiled fine here. Try the slackbuild here.

What are the advantages of this new version of conky over the one available @ Slackbuilds?

Nothing in the changelog looks appears to be worth the hassle unless I'm missing something.

Apparently the lua header files are located in /home/dimm0k/progs/vapp/include for me... is there any way to specify this path to be included?
