Confused about SBo libxnvctrl update

This is what sbopkg reports:

Code:
libxnvctrl:
   POTENTIAL UPDATE
   Installed version: libxnvctrl-390.87-x86_64-1_SBo
   Repo version: libxnvctrl-410.73-x86_64-1_SBo
I believe I got libxnvctrl as dependency for conky quite some time ago.

But after that nvidia-driver became nvidia-legacy390-driver for my GPU, which leaves me wondering what should I do with libxnvctrl now? Shouldn't there be a libxnvctrl-legacy390 buildscript as well now, which would list nvidia-legacy390-driver as dependency instead of nvidia-driver?

You can ask the maintainer OR you can write a new libxnvctrl-legacy390 SlackBuild script based on the original libxnvctrl and submit it to SBo.

I maintain that package. the upgrade isn't necessary, I just upgrade when the nvidia-kernel and nvidia-driver gets updated to match versions. I only do this because I get emails from people asking about why the versions are different. Should work fine for both recent and legacy nvidia versions

Am I right to assume that this small inconsistency happens because buildscripts don't support something like "packageA or packageB" in REQUIRES variable inside the .info files? However, explicitly mentioning in the README file of libxnvctrl that it shall work for both nvidia-driver versions is probably a good idea. I had to ask here in forum because I couldn't find an answer by reading the README file.

I'll update the README on the next update.
