Configuring WPA-secured wireless network

Does anyone know how to configure slackware for WPA? I am using the ndiswrapper in case that matters. I am pretty new to wireless so I may not even be asking the question correctly. The wireless card itself is configured and working. The setup that I have does work under WinXP. I have yet to see any WPA settings in any wireless tools.

thanks in advance

Edit: I also tried using wpa_supplicant, and I can't seem to get that to work either.

I haven't used WPA encryption, but from the posts I've seen, wpa supplicant is the only way to go. Neither ndiswrapper nor the wirless tools are going to be able to deal with WPA encryption. Do some searching around here because I have seen people get WPA encryption working with wpa supplicant.
