no, you have to edit the XF86Config (Linux is, as Unix, case sensitive, so xf86config, Xf86config, xf86Config are all different files).
The one you want to edit is:
editor /etc/X11/Xf86Config
change editor for your favourite editor
(like: vim /etc/X11/XF86Config) But you have to be root to change these files!!!
And try to find the section I mentioned before.
And BTW, aaa, have you read the warning that comes with xvidtune???
