compiling scsi_mod for slack

hi,

i'm an Slacknewbie, and i missed to inclue the scsi modules.
So i can't use my cd burner. I didn't find any understandable instructions to to this on the net.
i only have the ide-scsi module included, all others doesn't exist on my pc.

to compile the modules? it's in teh cd-writing howto.. also at http://gentoo.org in the installation instructions there....

or alternatively (if you're feeling brave) try a 2.6.0 test kernel, SCSI support no longer required
