Compiling MariaDB 5.5.40 and 10.0.14 from source

I've just compiled the recently released MariaDB 5.5.40 and 10.0.14 and it seems that the mariadb.SlackBuild needs the following compiler flag added:
Code:
-DWITH_JEMALLOC=ON \
otherwise the compilation halts every time.

Regards,
Mats

Nice catch.

Seems they now default to WITH_JEMALLOC=static on release builds. The intended options are: {yes, no, auto, static}. But, the way the
cmake files are written, if you set it to anything other than {yes, auto, static} it is equivalent to "no".

To not confuse people reading the slackbuild it might be better to use WITH_JEMALLOC=no (or maybe "auto" so it uses jemalloc if it's there;
i.e. installed from SBo).

Thanks for the explanation regarding CMakefiles. I think DWITH_JEMALLOC=NO is sensible since MariaDB is part of the stock Slackware packages.
