I wish I could say yes.

I was going to attempt this on an old pentium laptop for Slack 8.2, Slack 9.0 and Vec 3.2 for linuxant (conexant HSF and conexant HCF) and lucent ltmodems. All the above distros lack kernel sources. Unfortunately, I could only handcarry one laptop in a recent move (the new one with a custom Via C3 kernel) and the older laptop was damaged in shipping. I am waiting for the shipper to cover the damage.

I have contacted the lucent website and they will host the lucent drivers once they are tested. Vector will host their drivers once they get the problems sorted out with their ftp site. Linux packages will take the slackware packages as a submission.

I think the 9 drivers (lucent + conexant HSF + conexant HCF x the three different distros) should cover about 80-90% of the winmodem drivers needed. I think it is a worthwhile project but ideally needs to be done by someone with the barei or pentide kernel and another system with a cd burner or usbthumb drive.
