Command line cd/dvd burning - a newbie question

I am relatively new to Slackware (Loving it by the way, I used to be in the Debian and derivatives world) and have run into that issue with K3B getting stuck at 99%. I am not afraid of the command line nor reading the man pages...I am just stuck in a silly spot. What is the name of the program I would use? I can get more from man pages then, I am just not sure where to start looking (not sure what is in Slackware). Is cdrecord one? [edit] just checked the man page...looks like it is for cd/dvd copying but I wanted to burn an iso.

Sorry if this is a bit elementary....

cdrecord will definitely help you burn an ISO image. mkisofs will help you create one. Both have an "EXAMPLES" section in their respective manpages.

Edit: by the way, you'll need to find out the number of your CD/DVD burner with cdrecord -scanbus, and K3B uses cdrecord in the background, so I'm not sure if using cdrecord directly will work...

Thank you! I will try it. I'll practice with cd's,if I "coaster" a cd or 2 no biggie.
