Exclamation Code Blocks eat much CPU

I have slackware 14.01 64. and installed codeblocks 13.12 by slackbuilds
It consumes much CPU when it performs a very simple task like compiling "Hello world" or any other task.

Another problem is that when I close it, Its process doesn't stop. And after a short while computer gets slow.

What is the problem? How can I solve it?

This came up in ##slackware a while back: https://phra.gs/logs/slackware.20130830.log

The solution found by Phosis was to disable the code completion plugin. Good luck!
