cmp command not found in Slackware?

The "cmp" command is not found in Slackware. Does anybody know which package to install to get this?

I'm also getting this error in quite a few programs, namely "make".

cmp is in the standard slackware packages.
it's in the diffutils package

*EDIT*
if you are using slackware-current you probably need this:
diffutils-2.8.1-i386-1.tgz

Maybe a useful suggestion: You can search for a file in the contents of all packages with:
http://slackware.it/en/pb/

Or you could just grep the manifest file
