Closing these ports...

How can I close these ports and KEEP them closed?

heres my netstat -plant output.

"""
Active Internet connections (servers and established)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:111 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 4609/rpc.portmap
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:40660 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 5422/artsd
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:22 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1561/sshd
"""

Im running guarddong and the only protocols I have enabled are DNS and HTTP (not ssh)

Thanks in advance

For port 22, just turn off SSH:

Code:
chmod -x /etc/rc.d/rc.sshd
