It's not that big a deal to upgrade a kernel, and I say this as one who has done it a few times in the past several days. :D
Hardest part was spending 10 minutes looking for /sbin/elilo after copying things to the EFI directory. |

Perhaps would that be in the kernel changelog?
You can't have in a distro changelog what is in each software changelog. I'm glad to have some information now and then on security fixes or major changes. If I want something more consistent, I have a look at the changelog from upstream. Anyway, as I'm not good enough to english reading, what you wrote was difficult for me to understand and seemed too rude. IIRC it's usual for you not to be clear and quite usual to be upset. Too bad, could be more interesting. |
