cdrtools?
Hi
I have installed Slackware 10 and noticed that in KPackage it has included in the installation "cdrtools". How do i get this to run as it is not in the application menu. crapper :newbie: :newbie: :newbie: |
the cdr tools package provides mainly :
- cdrecord - program to burn cds - mkisofs - program to make iso images The package cdrdao will complete this set with : - cdrdao - program to burn cd with ' disk at once ' mode, like audio cd or raw copy cd (like other cd, playstation, akai...) |
They are command line tools. Trust that you don't want all of your command line tools appearing on your KDE menu. You might want to install k3b off of the /extra directory. If you only have the first CD, just grab the package from a mirror. It's a graphical burner that works pretty well.
