cdrtools?

Hi

I have installed Slackware 10 and noticed that in KPackage it has included in the installation
"cdrtools". How do i get this to run as it is not in the application menu.

the cdr tools package provides mainly :

- cdrecord - program to burn cds
- mkisofs - program to make iso images

The package cdrdao will complete this set with :
- cdrdao - program to burn cd with ' disk at once ' mode, like audio cd or raw copy cd (like other cd, playstation, akai...)

They are command line tools. Trust that you don't want all of your command line tools appearing on your KDE menu. You might want to install k3b off of the /extra directory. If you only have the first CD, just grab the package from a mirror. It's a graphical burner that works pretty well.
