Question cd rom not mounting

I'm trying to mount my cdrom, but I 'm not having results at all.
I'll explain:
I have a cdrom sangsung 52X like master-sec IDE,
I have a Cd/rw cendine , like slave-sec IDE
with the cd /rw I finily mount with /de/sr0 (no more problems.)
but when I want to mount the cdrom :
#mount /dev/cdrom

the ouput is:mount /dev/cdrom
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdd,
or too many mounted file systems
(could this be the IDE device where you in fact use
ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?)

My /etc/fstab file look like this:

/dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda1 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda5 /root ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda6 /tmp ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda7 /var ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda8 /usr ext2 defaults 1 2
#dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/hdd /mnt/cdrw1 iso9660 auto,user 0 0
/dev/sr0 /mnt/cdrom0 iso9660 auto,owner,ro 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
~
Any suggestions?

try mount /mnt/cdrom0 or /mnt/cdrw1 instead of /dev/cdrom

Ok, I try:

luis@darkstar:~$ mount /mnt/cdrom
mount: can't find /mnt/cdrom in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
luis@darkstar:~$ mount /mnt/cdrom0
mount: only root can mount /dev/sr0 on /mnt/cdrom0
luis@darkstar:~$ mount /mnt/cdrw1/
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdd,
or too many mounted file systems
(could this be the IDE device where you in fact use
ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?)
luis@darkstar:~$

Not mounting.

then I edit the /etc/fstab, adding /dev/hdc. /mnt/cdrom

then :
luis@darkstar:/$ mount /mnt/cdrom
mount: block device /dev/hdc is write-protected, mounting read-only

that was exelent. Now is working

thank you very much guys!!!

add 'ro' option in ftab at the /mnt/cdrom line to avoid this error message
