[SOLVED] Catalyst 13.9

Hi, I just installed the latest AMD drivers (13.9)
After that, when I run startx, my monitor stays black.

In dmesg there are several messageslie this one

They cocked it up again. It's not compatible with kernels above 3.9.

I found a solution, but admittedly it's not a very elegant one: http://linuxgamecast.com/discussions...d-2-fglrx-13-9

I am running Slackware64 14, which means my kernel version is 3.2.45
Either way I will try this fix.

I tried this solution.
I did not fix my problem, however, there is no messages in dmesg now.
And my xorg.0.log have several error.

I pasted my log in here.
Any more suggestions?

It appears that AMD removed catalyst 13.9 from their website, link.
