Question Cant load modules for usb in SlackWare 12.2

root@darkstar:/# modprobe ehci-hcd
FATAL: Error inserting ehci_hcd (/lib/modules/ Invalid argument
root@darkstar:/# modprobe uhci_hcd
FATAL: Error inserting ehci_hcd (/lib/modules/ Invalid argument
FATAL: Error inserting uhci_hcd (/lib/modules/ Invalid argument
FATAL: Error running install command for uhci_hcd

What shall I do?

First tell us which kernel you use (huge-smp or generic-smp).

If it is huge-smp you don't have to load ehci nor uhci modules as both drivers are integrated in the kernel.
