Cannot startx nor login to X as a user
 

I upgraded to 2.6.0-test11 kernel. It seems to be faster in gui :) , but now i cannot login to X as user. But only if i use my old account. Newly created users can login without problem. It says something about .xauth cannot set lock to .Xauth and gdm-session cannot set lock to .ICE . Any idea what this means? I tried to remove user with my name back and forth delete all the dotted stuff in my home and nothing helped. :confused: Please HELP ME !

How to find buddha in linux
After a half day of shell hell i gave it up and decided to ask here if somebody could help me with my problem (above). Minute after sending my post I was enlightened and tried to do ls -l in /home folder. I figured out that somehow i set ownership of my home folder to root.root :) .
