I just unplugged my iogear 4.0 bluetooth adapter and put in a 2.1 azio adapter and bluetooth is working.
wish I could get my iogear working but whatever.

Got my iogear 4.0 adapter working. had to unplug it and plug it back in.
if I have the firmware many people seem to need in order to work put in /lib/firmware/brcm
the adapter wont work for me.
