Can Login to my ISP account, but Web Pages don't load.

I have an ISP account, that requires me to login before I can use the Internet Service.

Now, I have configured the Wonderful Slackware quite correctly, but, I can't open sites.

Seemed to have a DNS problem, when I recovered from the wrong nameserver entered.

But, even after checking the resolv.conf to hold the correct numbers, Internet isn't working here.

I have Ubuntu installed too, Internet works fine in Ubuntu.

Should I provide more details? If yes, what should be those?

so...the resolv.conf file has the same adress as in ubuntu ?
..and is the resolv.conf file readable for all ?

Yes. I has the same address.

I think I should check it after every 2-3 minutes.

I have been reading a problem recently with the 2.6 kernel. It says that the resolv.conf DNS listings change automatically, and then Sites don't open and cause similar problems.

I will check that and add later.

Thanks for your time.

No there is no such problem that I have mentioned.

I kept checking resolv.conf, but no the content wasn't changing anyway.

Still no internet in Slackware.

Ubuntu works fine.
