can i install it
i was searching the net for xilinx
i found it but
it is for Red Hat Enterprise 3 Linux*
i was wondering can i use it on my slack?
hint:it's exitension is .sh

Can you please describe what Xilinx is? Also, what files are in the package and if possible, can you post a link or the code itself for the .sh file?

If the extension is .sh, you would run it with either "sh <name>.sh" or "run <name>.sh".
Give it a go and see what happens.

i am sorry for my bad discribtion
first xilinx is a company

and it produce a software called ISE WebPACK™
that what i was talking about
and they write that it works on Red Hat Enterprise 3 Linux*
and when i was downloading it i noticed that it is .sh extension

Like XavierP commented, try executing the script by going to the directory where it is and running.
Let us know if this works for you.

Xilinx is windows software, but it is rumored that the command-line tools can be run on WINE. You are still probably better off trying to figure out FreeHDL, GHDL, or gEDA.

I went to the Xilinx site and they show the Webpack software for Linux as well (not just Windows.)

i tried
bash: run: command not found
bash-3.00# sh WebPACK_82i_SFD.sh
then i tried
bash-3.00# sh WebPACK_82i_SFD.sh
and it said
Verifying archive integrity...
and took alot of time
but
at the end
Error in checksums: 1258885539 is different from 1185425615
then what should i do????

I think your packages is corrupt if the checksums don't match.
