Can I have multiple desktop/manager options with single user?

I would like the option of going between kde and fluxbox when I startX. Is there a way to do that with slack10. The way I have it now, I have different user logins for each manager/desktop I want, but there is no overlap of installed programs between the users other than those initially installed, so this is not acceptable. I've made sure that each user is in the 'user' group and that that group has the permissions to run these programs from whichever desktop I'm on, but that has not worked.

I know Suse has a graphical login with several desktop options....

Try xwmconfig

xwmconfig is what I used to set the desktop initially for each user. I do not recall options for more than one, but perhaps I missed something. I'll have to check when I get home....

Alright, I checked xwmconfig and I only see a choice of one of the desktops. I've edited the ~/.xinit file so that I have options that can be un/commented to select that way, but it seems that there would be a smoother way to do this.

yes there is another way: have Slackware boot into graphical mode. From the graphical login page, you can choose which Window Manager to use prior to login in.

I believe the default graphical logon screen is gdm, but there is also xdm and kdm.

Here you go:
