Can't sudo from programs

Hi
I am having some problem with logging as root from programs .I can log in as root in grapchic desktop and I can also log in as root in terminal .No problem there but after I had install k3b bunner I can't not setup as root to configure my cdrom bunner drive but I can log in as root in terminal and call that program from there and burn CD .I don't know what wrong but recently I been testing this command sudo and I found that I didn't reconige my root password .For example when I call a program with command sudo it would ask for my root password but it keep giving me this message that my root password is not correct.
Is there any way to fix this problem ?

Thanks

Try to run visudo as root to tune your sudoers file. Or if you use kde, you could call k3b with
'kdesu k3b'

Also, just an idea, did you try to enter your user password when sudo asks for password ?

I did put my password but It keep asking me again and again before It wasn't just k3b but also other certain program were like that too .But thank to you after calling kdesu ,I could configure as root now.I don't know what wrong ,my root password and other root feature work well but whenever there is sudo command in a program it just wouldn't work the way it support to be ,it keep asking root password again and again but now it work with kdesu.

Thanks for the tip
