Can't set appointment in KOrganizer
 

I am using the KDE 4.5.10 that shipped with Slackware 14.1.
Im am having trouble setting apponitments in KOrganizer Reminder Daemon.
When I finish filling the "new appointment" dialog an press OK or
APPLY nothing happens. Only the Cancel button works.
What is worng? Is KOrganizer buggy? Does it need a special setup?
Or maybe permissions to write to a file?

I tried KOrganizer for a short time and decided to move to the Moleskine Weekly Planner. The second best solution is the Thunderbird Lightning plugin.

What's your backend resource for the calendar? I'm using CalDAV and it works fine, though I don't use it heavily.
