I'd like to pay media files (mp3,flac etc) which
I burned to a CD with a Windows utility. There is
no problem playing the files under WinXP but I am unable
to mount these CD's under Linux. The mount utility
asks for a filesystem but
mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /cdrom
does not work nor does vfat, msdos etc. Can anyone
suggest how I might play these media files?
Direct play (using xine) of the umounted CD doesn't
work either....
You should create an entry in the /etc/fstab file for CDROM and DVDROM drives on your system. You don't have to mount using the full mount command every time.
