Can't Install vmware 1.0.4 on Slackware 12, 2.6.24

I'm trying to install vmware 1.0.4 on Slack 12.0 with kernel 2.6.24, but running into this problem when wmware-config.pl is executed: http://alkos333.pastebin.com/m589bff71 I know Slackware doesn't have PAM support, but I'm hoping there's a workaround.

I've installed vmware on slackware before and the fix was to just create the directories that the installer is looking for. You don't have to install PAM, just satisfy the installer.

Yes, I resolved the issue soon after I posted this, but couldn't find a way to delete it. Is there a way to remove a post, by the way?
