When trying to boot the Slackware disc I am greeted with the
prompt. I do not enter any options and simply press Enter on my keyboard. However, the Slackware installer won't load and I receive this error.

I have never installed Linux on this laptop before and I have ran into similiar issues when trying to boot discs of other distributions, such as Debian and Arch. I AM able to boot Damn Small Linux and Ubuntu.
I'm guessing that I have a weird SATA controller that the default Slackware kernel does not have a driver for. I'm not sure how to research this further, does someone have a pointer?
Thanks.
