Can't get kpilot to sync with Tungsten e...

Hi All,

I just installed Slackware and am enjoying it very much so far. The only problem I have is that I can't get kpilot to sync. I haven't had this problem before. So far I tried:

chmod 666 /dev/ttyUSB0

then entered /dev/ttyUSB0 into the kpilot setup but it just sits there and nothing syncs

I am using a Tungsten e. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it as this is something that I have to have for work and I want to stick with Slackware. Thanks in advance!
