If you assume that everything in /usr/share should belong to root (fair guess) then you can simply run:

chown -R root:root /usr/share
Actual "revert" in the meaning of "undoing your previous action" is not possible. UNIX does not have an undo function.

a file system might have a snapshot/rollback mechanism. zfs, btrfs.
but requires manual work: snapshoot, changes, not cool, rollback

ls -dl /usr/share/* on mine it shows everything is root:root directories as BoB said, chown root:root -R should put you back in the captains chair.
