Can't connect to Slack10 Box

I installed a fresh Slack 10 box.
I plugged it into the router and set: IP, Subnet, Nameservers, Domain.
It can ping my Slack9 box and two WinXP just fine. The internet works.

But, I can't ping this box from any other boxes. I also can't SSH to it.

I checked the hosts and resolv.conf file, they're both fine.

iptables -L -n shows nothing is blocked.

I'm out of ideas since it's a freshly installed box.

Any ideas?

one time my new slack box did that I just disabled the iptables and then it worked.

Solved the "problem", turns out the machine had a different IP than I thought (.22 insted of .9).

Which is kind of weird, since in /etc/hosts it was still 192.168.2.9 ... (:

I thoght that these files are updates if you run netconfig?
