Question can't boot after fresh install 13.1


before i would to say sorry because my bad english,
i have install slackware 13.1 with no problem,but the problem is that i reboot after finish install.
in the midle it's stop booting and can't continue.....
please help me.....

Can you give more information? What do you define as the middle of the booting process? Are there any error messages? Where did you install LILO, or are you using another bootloader? Maybe also show your disk layout.

Really, without further information, we won't be able to help you.

i use LILO,i can choose the OS between Windows and Linux Slackware.....
after i choose the Linux it can work but on the midle booting it stop working....

have you tried with a memtest? it could be you got problems with RAM.

i try memtest and have no problem...with the memory.

every i booting up the slackware and it stop in the midle of boot like i wrote on the above,then i forced shutdown the machine.after that i can boot well....
this case same with ubuntu 10.04,10.10, suse 11.2,Backtrack 4 R2..

This suggests that you have some kind of hardware problem, though I don't know what.

At Lilo : press TAB and

Linux "ACPI=off"
or
Linux "noapic"
