Lightbulb Call For Testing: Cinnamon 4

Hi all,

Cinnamon 4 is out for some time and there has been some minor update to it, so i guess it's time for public testing of Cinnamon 4 for next Slackware release.

The script are now placed on master branch in the GitHub repository for those who prefer to build it from source and the binary packages are uploaded in the slackware.uk (Thanks to Darren Austin) for those who prefer to install it directly. The binary packages are built against latest update in -current per Nov 19 2018.

Thanks

Just to be clear, you need to be on -current to build and run this, correct?

Thanks for your work on this project.

Cinnamon SlackBuilds have always required and included PAM.

I just don't like what they've done to the panel and the menu,
aside from that it seems to be working well for me so far.

I do have a question, what was rubygem-sass added for?

I will try building it on my -current LXC container, but I'm not sure if it's possible to actually run it that way. Maybe somehow using a remote desktop solution. (Yes, I know a VM is an easier solution, but I'd like to know how to do this, plus I do actually want to try Cinnamon 4.)

to run I think it will need a physical system and a GPU with working hardware acceleration: I've just tried it in a qemu virtual machine with the qxl driver and it didn't like it.

It's for mint-themes
Without it, it won't generate derived css for all the variant.
You previously asked about the mint-themes replacing mint-y-themes and mint-x-themes. One of the reason why it wasn't included because i didn't get the deps correctly, which is rubygem-sass, but now it's added and mint-themes can be packaged.

Vala is now included in -current, so i have removed it from CSB repository. Please remove vala and switch to the packages in -current.

Since vala has been removed, is graphviz still required?
