Question broadcom-sta-SlackBuild not finding driver

I am trying to install my broadcom wireless driver. broadcom-sta-SlackBuild is giving me the following error and I dont understand why.

I edited the version number in the broadcom-sta-SlackBuild to match ther version number of the hybrid-v35-nodebug-pcoem-6_30_223_141.tar.gz driver.

Can anyone see what I might be doing wrong?

Here is my terminal window output

bash-4.2# pwd
/home/zarniwoop/broadcom/broadcom-sta
bash-4.2# ls -al |more

Not sure but your ls output shows this

hybrid-v35-nodebug-pcoem-6_30_223_141.tar.gz

Whereas the script is looking for

hybrid-portsrc_x86_32-v35-nodebug-pcoem-6_30_223_141.tar.gz

What device is it? Does the b43 driver support it? If it's better to just build a newer kernel and get the suitable firmware using b43-fwcutter (also in slackbuilds).

I ran into the exact same problem. You'll need to apply a new patch and modify the slackbuild a little bit.
