Update:

I found a site tha has good info Bootdisk-HOWTO

I have created an "el torito" iso boot image. The new problem i am experiencing is:

Code:
Blocks total: 359848 blocks current: 359848 blocks remaining: -773098
cdrecord: WARNING: data may not fit on current disk.
cdrecord: notice: overburning active. Tyring to write more than the offical disk capacity.
Yes, I know, overburn would not work in this case. What's next?

Obviously, you hd is too big.. You need to compress the files, or delete anything that you can. If they can fit 2.5 gigs on knoppix, then you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Good luck
