boot problem noob

When I try to boot slackware, the following messages come up.
/dev/hdb2 contains errors, check forced
Inode 135671 contains errors

**********************************************
*** An error occurred during the root filesystem check ***
*** You will now be given a chance to log into the ***
*** System in single-user mode to fix the problem ***
*** If you are using the ext2 filesystem, running ***
*** 'e2fsck -v -y <partition> might help ***
**********************************************

Once you exit the single-user mode, the system will reboot

Type control-d to proceed with normal startup
(or give root password for system maintenance):

No matter which option I choose, the system reboots. I am using the ext2 filesystem. My installation did not have any errors. My system is
PII 350mhz
320mb ram
3gb hard drive

"No matter which option I choose, the system reboots." Try typing what i said there "e2fsck -v -y <partition>"
However i would suggest you to reinstall Slackware using ext3 or reiserfs that are journalist filesystems and don't get corrupted like ext2 (that's what happened to you).
