boot directly into KDE

now my slack11 boots into the console init 3
and i want it to boot into graphical, KDE directly that i don't have to run startx first
so that KDE would ask me for login name and password

i've read somewhere that the system must boot into init 4 to do that(or maybe it was 5 dunno exactly)

how do i do this?
do i edit the /etc/rc.d/ scripts?
or anything else?

http://www.slackware.com/config/init.php

Quote:
rc.4 - Multiuser startup (runlevel 4), but in X11 with KDM, GDM, or XDM as the login manager.
