Unhappy Bluetooth Device Not Found

Hi, Im running Slackware 14.1 x64 multilib on an ASUS N53SV Laptop. Im having troubles trying to run Bluetooth.

Even tho I have a bluetooth device incorporated, i never used it (on slackware, i did on MS-W7, Fedora, and Debian), i recently felt the need to use it, and BAM! "Device Not Found"

Here is a screenshot

http://i.imgur.com/dKiefBL.png

I tried: dmesg |grep -i bluetooth

Code:
$root@ASUS:/home/n4rf# dmesg |grep -i bluetooth
[ 8.410135] Bluetooth: Core ver 2.16
[ 8.410150] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
[ 8.410156] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
[ 8.410158] Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
[ 8.410164] Bluetooth: SCO socket layer initialized
Definetly there is a bluetooth device...

Then rfkill

Code:
$root@ASUS:/home/n4rf# rfkill list
0: asus-wlan: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
1: asus-bluetooth: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
2: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
3: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
I installed bluez, bluez-firmware, bluez-hcidump, blueman, etc etc..

I havent found service to initialize:

/etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth

neither anything on

/etc/init.d/bluetooth

or something similar, like bluez, blueman, etc etc...

Im sorry to use this space, but Ive tried searching and I havent found any answer yet..

ANy advice, help, would be apreciated!

Thank you!

Hmmm....
Don't know what to say.
If you have the bluez packages installed you should have rc.bluetooth in /etc/rc.d/
but it won't be executable.
As root you need to run, chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth
and reboot or you can try
/etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth restart
Once done, bring up, as user, the Bluetooth Manager and see if you can find your device.

OK! FIrst of all!My bad, I was going with tab and didnt find rc.bluetooth... but with "ls rc.blu(tab)" on /etc/rc.d/ and found it!

Followed your steps, and now I have my bluetooth working!
