Blueman-applet top cpu user whenever heavy processing is happening

Right now I am running sbopkg and processing a queue of updates form the latest SlackBuilds release. The CPUs are running near 100% during this time. Odd thing is that when I run htop and sort by CPU, blueman-applet is reported to be using 75-85% of the CPU. More...

- I have no bluetooth devices
- /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth is not set to execute

I saw another post on this and will try uninstalling blueman, but I find the behavior odd as I'm pretty certain the top process is being mis-reported. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Something is definitely going on. I came across this post because I too am seeing 'blueman-applet' being listed as a very high cpu usage process. I too don't have any bluetooth devices and rc.bluetooth is chmod -x. I'm not sure what stated this process, but it wasn't something I did explicitly.
