Blank screen on boot
Hey, I've installed Slack 10.2 on a hard drive which used to have suse on it with grub.
Upon instlling slack, when it reboots, I get a blank screen after post.
If I boot with CD1, and manually edit the boot line, it works. I've re-ran lilo, got a message that it's adding linux install, but I still get a blank screen.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I've heard that sometimes grub gets left behind even when you delete partitions. But how do I get past this blank screen?
Thanks!

Meh I fixed it, I booted again with CD1, and ran liloconfig, and installed lilo to the mbr.
Works like a charm now.
Onward and upward. Man you have to be a stubborn bloke for this linux stuff heh heh

It's not so much about being stubborn, as in doing everything by hand. Especially in Slackware, there are few to no wizards to aid you in installation. You tend to have to know what's going on, or at least be reading a how-to on how to do an installation properly.
It's like driving stick. If you don't know what the third pedal does, you'll either figure it out the hard way or read up on it.
