Are you using kdm or xdm?

Hi rkelsen,
excuse because i'm very newbie can you tell me at what point of the topic you refer? I use xdm and I modified xd-config with the statement DisplayManager._0.terminateServer: true but it didn't work.

Fabio Grosso?? I'm not a football fan

It at least made it possible to switch back and forth between X and console screens without the "blackout" issue.
