Red face Big Problem with Thunderbird

When I run this program, it goes to verifying inbox and bug.
I would like to uninstall it and then reinstall it if it is possible this way to overpass this situation.
I have actually 26.000 messages in my inbox, I can still access to them through the web browser.

Wink Very New Thunderbird

OK
I mv ~/.thunderbird to ~./thunderbird.old
I reinstalled thunderbird.
And I have now a new mail client clean and ready to work.
Don't know what happened with the older one but my problem is solved.
I just have to download again the 26.000 messages from my gmail account.
